You guys are losing Maj with facts and figures talk....just think about that for a second....

Tears fellas tears been a long time.

Already stressed out. Wearing the same t-shirt and pants I wore yesterday, sitting at the same spot at the bar I was at yesterday and ordering the same food and beer I ordered yesterday.

Sweeping 7 games from the Yanks and A’s was unfathomable. They did it. Man that comeback vs the A’s put this team at another level.

Good for them. Too bad the Leafs can't take a page out of their book.

3 more against the Yankees too. Helps that the Jays currently have a game in hand on NY and 3 games in hand on Boston iirc.

They also get two series against the Twins and one more against Baltimore, so that helps. If the Yankees keep up their play of late, that series could help too!

Vladdy with an MVP (close to triple crown) season.
Ray as a potential Cy young
Semien monster year
Bichette all-star level
Springer pro-rated to a whole year would be an all-star
Teoscar pulling up V.Wells numbers
Lourdes on fire
Manoah solidified himself as a solid #3 in his rookie year

Honestly, if the bullpen was just a little bit better early on, we'd be neck and neck with the Rays for 1st.

The Jays are roughly 8-10 wins behind their Pythagorean win expectation too IIRC. It's absolutely nuts.

Manoah is most likely to be the ace moving forward.  His slider is basically unhittable. We’re talking Randy Johnson/Bob Gibson dominance with that slider, not to mention his fastball .  Once he finds consistency from start to start he’ll be burning the league down.
